AMANDA BAEHR FULLER’s earliest obsessions were animals and ink lines. Her art career began as an inker for animated shows, where she could practice drawing lines over a lightbox all day long. Amanda went on to design characters and backgrounds for Nickelodeon, MTV, Scholastic, and Sesame Workshop. In her studio today, you’ll find a lightbox and a few hundred Micron pens, alongside an iPad Pro and her daughter’s colored pencils. Amanda gathers inspiration from the visual feast of her life in New York City, where she lives with her English teacher husband, colored pencil-loving daughter, and two cats who do not get along.
