As a child, TRISHA SPEED SHASKAN explored her imagination by writing songs, stories, poems, and creating a neighborhood newspaper that she Xeroxed at the grocery store. Today, Trisha continues to explore her ideas through the fifty books she’s written for children. When she’s not writing, Trisha loves visiting schools and libraries where she teaches creative writing, does interactive presentations, and shares her excitement for creativity! She lives in Minneapolis with her husband/author/illustrator Stephen Shaskan.
