TINA KüGLER is the award-winning author/illustrator of SNAIL AND WORM AGAIN, a 2018 Theodor Seuss Geisel Award Honor Book and ALA Notables Best Children’s Book of the Year. She draws and paints her artwork digitally and works very hard to make it look like she is not using a computer at all. Before becoming a children’s book illustrator, she owned her own bookshop then spent ten years drawing storyboards in the animation industry for studios such as Walt Disney, Nickelodeon, and Warner Bros. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, three sons and an enormous hairy dog (named Harry).

by Tina Kügler (Scholastic Acorn, 2020)
★ “Kügler seamlessly weaves repeated words and phrases into the story, so as readers enjoy Fritz and Franny’s antics, they will expand their vocabularies and build reading confidence without feeling as though they are practicing. Kügler expertly uses character-associated colors and a vertical page layout to foster visual literacy and provide visual clues for readers. The majority of the text is in speech balloons. A rollicking romp for new readers.” —Kirkus Reviews, starred review
