Best-selling author BRIANNA CAPLAN SAYRES used to tell her second graders, “When I grow up, I’m going to be a writer.” “But you are grown up, Mrs. Sayres,” her students would protest. Well, Brianna’s still not quite sure she’s grown up, but she definitely has grown into a writer. Brianna is a children’s book author who writes poetry, picture books, chapter books and nonfiction. Brianna is also proud to be the founder of Intergalactic Afikoman, a new publisher of Jewish children’s books whose goal is to publish “out-of-this-world Jewish books for today’s Jewish kids.” She lives in Seattle with her two amazing boys.
