Award-winning author and illustrator MIKE PETRIK is the creator of the incredibly popular One Cool Duck young graphic novel series, a love letter to growing up in the 80’s. He has illustrated more than twelve children’s books, including Bad Brows, written by Jason Carter Eaton, Sammy’s Spooktacular Halloween, and his board book series The Silly Sounds of Christmas and The Silly Sounds of Halloween, which he also wrote. He fills his sketchbooks with pen and pencil drawings, then finishes them digitally to create texture and evoke emotion. When he is not animating, he doodles on grocery lists, old family photos, and forgotten napkins. Mike lives in the sleepy town of Oak Lawn, Illinois, just outside of Chicago, with his three offspring and an epic Family Halloween haunted yard display.
