BROOKE SMART’s illustrations focus on brave women in history and those making an impact today. Her art also celebrates motherhood, family relationships, and the bonds we make as friends. Brooke loves adding a little humor into her compositions and works hard to make each piece meaningful and beautiful. Brooke graduated with a BFA degree in illustration from BYU where she has since returned as an adjunct faculty member. Brooke is currently working on her debut picture books and debut board books (SIX in total!) due out in 2020 and beyond. She lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her son, two daughters, a cat named Sunshine, and her loving husband, a bearded architect named Jeremy.
